Rowena # 1946-11
|
| |
| I found Rowena (her original name) in Cincinnati. She
had only one owner prior to my purchase. She was originally built for
and owned by the Fellmeth family. Mrs. Fellmeth's name was Rowena.
Through some internet searching I got in touch with Mark Fellmeth,
Indianapolis, grandson of the original owner.
His
Grandfather, who also lived in the USA, had the boat at their summer
place on Lake Simcoe where they had a boat house built just for her. The
boat somehow got lost as it was at a restoration place that went
bankrupt and Rowena got sold through the sale and ended up at the
Antique Boat Center from whom I purchased her as a project Boat. I have
owned her for 7 years now.
